My days and nights have been turned around, this last one month, what was intended to be a restful vacation...was not to be!
Hubby dear fractured his leg and has been in cast since the end of march. At home, resting and recuperating and getting all the love and affection and attention he deserves-for me, I can promise you this, the day the cast comes out,I'll feel grateful to the maker and all his assistants. Being with hubby dear 24x7 is great, after all the last seven months he's been so busy,we've not had time to even catch up on any not newsworthy chatter. But, it is crazy...
So when my inbox surprised me with the Sunshine Award, I was HAPPY.
And I'd like to spread the sunshine.
Now its my turn to follow the criteria in accepting the award:
The first one is not a food blog.Sew Can Do. Its about DIY sewing projects. They look so pretty and really make me want to sit down and read, and wish I was as dextrous with a needle and thread as I am with a balloon whisk. Its written by Cherry, and the one post that I love going through, even though I've never attempted is this.
Another one,the second one is a food blog, baabaacupcake by Carly, who currently is a first year pediatrics intern, where she finds the time to bake and blog...but the cupcakes or whatever she keeps making are tempting...and I'm sure her young patients love her to sugared bits already.I love her takes on the various velvet cakes...
The third is again a non food blog, I love because of the photographs. Its called butter +brass and is written by erin from michigan,US. The pictures she puts up are absolutely awesome. Sometimes about fashion shoots, sometimes the light is so diffused that it lends a magical effect to the picture...you almost think as though you are peering into someone's head.
Another one, Around Perranuthoe and west cornwall is a blog written by Perranlady(not her real name-obviously) and her husband where she regularly uploads pics of the picturesque Perranuthoe ,clicked while they walk there two adorable dogs....Sunshine Indeed.
Thank you Mary, for making my day sunnier and happier.
So,now you know why the posts are not as frequent,we'll meet at the other end of the day, with hopefully the post of the Thin Cookies I've been planning to bake or with the post of the homemade Graham Crackers.
So what are you baking today???
